Safeguarding

The welfare and safety of our students is the foundation which underpins everything we do at City Academy Norwich. We work tirelessly to ensure students are safe, feel empowered to discuss any concerns they have, and can learn in a caring, positive, and supportive learning environment.

Safeguarding is the process of protecting children from abuse or neglect, preventing impairment of their health and development, and ensuring they are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care that enables children to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully.

Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy 2024-25

This policy is reviewed regularly, and all staff receive annual Safeguarding and Child Protection update training and are aware of the internal procedures for passing on concerns within the academy.
