Behaviour for Learning

Rewards and House Points

Rewards are at the core of our school’s culture, and are recognised through House Points.  Students who collect the most House Points in a term are rewarded with recognition Certificates at end of term celebrations.  Rewards are one of the many effective tools that promote a love of learning in the classroom, and help build positive rapport with our students.

Students with great attendance are rewarded with a blue raffle ticket and go into our “In It To Win It” end of term draw.  Prizes have included iPads, day trips and Amazon vouchers

Consequences of Poor Behaviour

This behaviour management system is based on the principle that no student has the right to disrupt the learning of other students. It is designed to allow the teacher to teach and deal effectively with low level disruption in the classroom
