Football Academy coming to CAN

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Improtech Soccer, who will be delivering the region’s first school-based Football Academy for boys and girls at CAN which starts in September 2022. our new intake of Year 7s the opportunity to take part in this unique football academy where they will receive 10 hours of free coaching integrated into their curriculum with sessions taking place before, during, and after school.

At a press launch earlier this week, we welcomed Wes Hoolahan, Cambridge United and Ireland International; Steve Golightly, Director of Football and Stephen Elliot, Lead Soccer Coach from Improtech Soccer, as well as local media, ITV Anglia and BBC Radio Norfolk.

It was also an opportunity for some of our Year 9 PE students an exciting opportunity to have a chat and a bit of a kick around with football legend Wes Hoolahan.

Improtech Soccer coaches young players to the elite UEFA Pro Licence standard in a school environment . The programme is driven by a highly experienced team of coaches who understand the key partnerships required with support and teaching staff who have a long-term commitment to each pupils combined Football and academic development
